This is going to be our locking ski and snowboard carrier for the top of our vehicle, part number RKY1482. As you can see, we've already go the back one in place, and we're going to show you how that front one goes in place, and what it looks like with some skis and snowboards on it. Let's go ahead and open up our door. These are going to be the factory roof rails on our vehicle, and these will fit most all of your roof rack systems, whether that be your round bar, square bar, elliptical bar, even your factory roof rails like we have here. First thing we're going to do is make sure we have the cables undone on both sides, we'll set it underneath to where we can pull those cables through and under the bottom. We're going to show you how we put the back in place because it is the same way. To start off, I'm going to jump up into my car and we're going to set our carrier on our crossbars. Today on our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan we are going to be doing a test fit of the Whispbar Locking Ski and Snowboard Carrier for the top of your vehicle. This is going to be part number WB-300 and it's going to be good for six skis or four snowboards up on top of our vehicle. As you can see, we've already got that back one in place and we'll show you how to put the front one in and get it all attached. First thing we are going to do is make sure we have the straps undone, set it up underneath of our crossbars. You'll notice that these are factory crossbars on our vehicle, but they will be good with your round bars, square bars, elliptical bars, even your arrow type bars and factory roof racks like we have here. Next, we'll go ahead and take the tabs, bend them around, and click them into the grooves. If we need to, we may need to tighten it down just a little bit. Depending on what kind of roof rack you are putting it on, it may need a little more adjusting. more

First thing you're going to want to do is make sure you have the straps undone and ready to receive your crossbars. Place it up over the top of your crossbars so that the straps are coming underneath. Once you've done so, then go ahead and pull up the strap around and hook it into the slot. more

Male : Today, on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima FatCat. This will be your ski and snowboard carrier for the top of your vehicle, part no. Y03088. As you can see, we've already got the front one on our factory cross parts and we're going to show you how to place on the back one since it goes on the exact same way. First thing you're going to want to do, is place it up on top of your crossbar, sliding the straps underneath and then placing it up top. Once you have it up top, go ahead and get it a high point where you can have a bit little better access to it, and then line it up with the front crossbars, or the front rack. Then we'll bring the strap around placing it inside and closing it down. Once you close it down, go ahead and screw down the lock assembly, which is on the inside here and you can see it moving there until it clips in place. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6, a Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier with a 6 Ski or 4 Board capacity. Its part number is Y03088. With our Rhino-Rack 2500 Roof Rack System already installed on our Avenger, we're going to begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier, and placing it onto our front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal strap around the underside of our load bar, fit it into the foot of the carrier, press the black button on the end of the carrier to open our top jaw, where we will reach inside and lift the black lever. We can then cam our buckle closed, give the black lever a few turns to tighten it, and push it down to engage our catch. We'll now make our way over to the driver's side and repeat the same tightening process that we used for the passenger. With the front half of our carrier secure, we'll now grab the rear half, place it onto our rear load bar. Again, bring the black rubber coated metal strap around the underside of the bar, place it into the foot of the carrier. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to be test fitting the Whispbar locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with the six ski or four board capacity in silver. It's part number is WV-300. With our Rhino-Rack 2500 series roof rack already installed on the Avenger, we're going to begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier and placing it under our front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber-coated straps around the underside of our load bar and fit it back into the foot of the carrier. We'll then press the black button on the end of the carrier. This will allow us to open the top jaw where we can reach inside and lift on the black lever. We'll cam our buckle closed, give the black lever a few turns and push it down to engage the catch. We can now move over to the driver's side and repeat the same tightening process that we used on the other side. The front half of our rack secure, we'll now grab our rear half, place it onto our load bar, take a quick look to be sure that we have both halves in line with each other. Then we can repeat the tightening process that we used on the front. We're now ready to load our gear. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey we're going to test fit the Yakima Fat Cat 6 locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier. It can carry up to 6 skis or 4 boards. With the Yakima round bar roof rack already installed on the vehicle, we're going to test fit by placing half of our carrier onto the front crossbar. Bring the rubber straps around the crossbar and then clamp them shut on the front of the carrier. Then we're going to push the button on the end of the carrier to open the jaws and then we'll flip up the thumb tabs and tighten them and push them back down. Once we have the securing process straightened out, we'll grab the second half of our carrier and place it on the rear bar. Let's make sure that it's in line with the front half and then we can repeat the same tightening process that we used on the front. With the front and the rear secure, we can go ahead and open our jaws. more

Bring the rubber coated straps around the bar fitting it into the carrier. Once that is in place you can flip the buckle and push it down, open up the jaw by pressing the oversize button, flip the thumb tabs and screw them down to secure the straps in place. Once they're tight, we can push the tab back down. We can grab the other half of the carrier and place it on the rear bar. more

We'll then tighten down the black levers then clamp them down, securing the front part of the carrier to the front crossbar. We'll now place the rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar, and repeat the same steps. Once both pieces of the carrier are secured to our Dodge Charger, we're ready to load on some gear. We'll push in the oversized buttons at the end of the carrier to open up the jaws. more

With the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, we begin our test fit by placing the front of the carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll open up the jaws, exposing two black levers on the interior of the carrier. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar, and hook them back to the top rack bracket. We'll then turn the black levers and clamp them down. We'll then repeat these steps for the other side of the carrier. We'll now set our second part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar, and repeat the same steps. We'll open up the jaws, exposing the two black levers, bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar, and hook them back into the top black bracket. Once the levers are tightened down and clamped into position, we're ready to load on some gear. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Whispbar Locking Roof Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier with a Six Ski or Four Board Capacity, part wb-300. Now our vehicle is equipped with the Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System. To begin our test fit we'll simply place the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar.We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar and hook them back into the top bracket of the carrier. Now with the jaws open exposing the black levers we can tighten them down and clamp them into position preventing the steel strap from coming undone.Now with the front part of the carrier secured to the vehicle we're ready to load the second part of the carrier. We'll place it onto the rear crossbar, bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar and with the jaws open exposing the black levers we'll tighten down and clamp them into position. Now with both parts of the carrier secured to the vehicle we're ready to load our gear.We'll push in the oversized buttons at the end of the carrier to open up the jaws. more

Today on this 2011 Dodge Avenger were going to be test fitting the Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number Y03078. The rack we have on our Avenger today is a Yakima system with round crossbars. However, the FatCat is compatible with square load bars and most of the OEM are factory crossbars on the market. We have our FatCat System assembled and now were ready to install it up on the roof of our vehicle. First well take the front half and lay it up on top of our crossbar. Well get it positioned and well begin tightening down the bolts then secure the universal clamp to our crossbars. more

Today on our 2011 Dodge Journey, we'll be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 Rooftop Ski Carrier, part number Y03078. With our roof rack already fitted to the vehicle and our ski carrier already preassembled we'll go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll begin by taking the front carrier setting it on top of the front load bar and clamp it down using the provided hardware. With the front carrier secured, we're now ready to move to the rear. We'll again repeat the process when installing the rear carrier making sure to line it up with the front carrier. Now that our rear carrier is secured we're now ready to load our skis. more
